Mandy is currently a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor  (LCMHC) and a retired teacher and school counselor with the Johnston County School System. After 30 years in the school system, Mandy desires to continue helping children who struggle with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders and mood disorders. She uses a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy and other means to help children and families understand and cope with these challenges. By using an integrated approach, the needs of the client can be more appropriately met.

Mandy resides in Kenly on a small farm. She loves spending time with her family and believes that God has a special purpose for every person. She feels it is her calling to help clients understand and work toward the goal of discovering and working toward the person God has called them to be by overcoming challenge
