Kimiko Pittman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCAS-A) from Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She brings over 20 years of experience in human services, social work, counseling, and mental health, having worked with diverse populations across child welfare, juvenile justice, community corrections, and the LME/MCO system.

Kimiko earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from East Carolina University. She holds a Master of Arts in Human Services with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University, as well as a Master of Social Work from East Carolina University with a certification in Substance Abuse Counseling. Her extensive educational and professional background allows her to approach client care with depth, structure, and insight.

Kimiko utilizes a multidimensional, trauma-informed approach to therapy that considers each client’s biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. She is passionate about helping individuals and couples heal from trauma, strengthen self-worth, improve communication, and break unhelpful patterns that interfere with emotional well-being and relationships. Her work emphasizes understanding clients within the context of their lived experiences and environments, while offering practical tools and thoughtful feedback to support meaningful change.

Clients often appreciate Kimiko’s balanced approach—compassionate and supportive, yet direct and goal-oriented. She integrates evidence-based and complementary therapeutic techniques to provide a personalized treatment experience tailored to each client’s needs, strengths, and goals.

Outside of her professional work, Kimiko enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She is actively involved in her church community, where she serves as a Young Adult Ministry Leader and Worship Leader, and enjoys supporting both youth and senior ministries. Kimiko is also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
