Kimiko Pittman

Kimiko is a is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate from Rocky Mount, NC. Kimiko has over 18 years of Human Services, Social Work, Counseling and Mental Health experience working with various populations to include Children and Families in Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, Community Corrections, and the LME/MCO. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from East Carolina University. She received a Master of Arts Degree in Human Services with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University. She also earned a Master of Social Work Degree with a certification in Substance Abuse Counseling from East Carolina University.

Kimiko utilizes a multidimensional approach to therapy, exploring each individual’s biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. She desires to come alongside others to assist them in healing from trauma, building self-worth, improving communication in their relationships, and reaching their goals. Her therapeutic approach is to evaluate each person within their environment, provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complimentary methodologies and techniques to offer a high level personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and to attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

In her free time, Kimiko likes to spend time with her husband, family, and friends. She is currently the Young Adult Ministry Leader and a Worship Leader at her church and enjoys working with the Youth and Senior Ministry as well as leading the congregation in worship. Kimiko is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
