Elizabeth is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA). She went to East Carolina University for her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Counselor Education. She discovered her passion for mental health while doing her internship at an elementary school during COVID.

Elizabeth has a passion for working with children, teens, and young adults. She loves incorporating games and hands-on tools when working with clients. Elizabeth uses a combination of Person-Centered Therapy, talk therapy, play therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral therapy. Elizabeth prioritizes developing a great professional relationship with clients as well as a sense of safety and trust. She believes that this provides a strong foundation for incorporating tools and exploring the client perspective.

Elizabeth lives in Wilson with her husband and black lab. She is a strong Christian and loves to incorporate faith with clients that have similar beliefs. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys baking, cooking, going to the gym, playing board games, and playing with her dog, Roscoe.
