Diamond Jenkins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from East Carolina University and her Master through the Joint Master’s Social Work Program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Diamond has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger management, and ADHD in adults, among other challenges. She is passionate about using a person-centered approach, meeting individuals and families where they are, and guiding them through the therapeutic process. Her goal is to help increase self-efficacy and autonomy while fostering personal growth. Diamond integrates a strengths-based perspective, motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused techniques to empower clients and provide them with practical tools to create meaningful change in their lives. She upholds empathy, respect, and compassion, as core principles in her practice.
Diamond also believes in the value of incorporating faith into treatment, offering clients the opportunity to view their lives through a spiritual lens that can foster healing, resilience, and overall well-being.
In her free time, Diamond enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, spending time with her family/friends, staying active in her church and community, reading, and journaling.
