Anna Godwin is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern from Liberty University, with a strong foundation in mental health care. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy, with a minor in Psychology, from East Carolina University. With three years of experience in inpatient behavioral health as a Recreational Therapist, Anna has honed her skills in leading psychoeducation groups and supporting individuals through their healing journeys.

Anna is committed to fostering a safe, compassionate environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. She is passionate about helping individuals recognize and challenge negative thought patterns, guiding them toward positive transformation. Anna’s areas of focus include working with women, young adults, and children. She is trained in trauma-informed care as well as SYMBIS pre-marital counseling. Anna has also pursued further training in somatic interventions, such as EFT tapping and Heartmath techniques, to offer a more holistic approach to healing.

Outside of her clinical work, Anna enjoys painting, visiting the beach, and spending quality time with friends, family, and her golden doodle, Bogey.
